Scholarship recipients will be notified by June 30, 2024.

 

 

 

Graduate Scholarships

Scholarship awards for graduates of Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing/Good Samaritan College seeking a Master's Degree or Doctoral Degree indicating a major in nursing, health, or leadership.

Funds are specifically for the purpose of formal education* and are to be allocated to graduates of the Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing/Good Samaritan College of Nursing and Health Science.

*Formal education is defined as courses toward a degree. Scholarships are not available for specialty certification.

Application Criteria:

1. Required:
   1. Must be a graduate of Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing/Good Samaritan College of Nursing and Health Science.
   2. You may apply for the cost of tuition only for courses not yet taken.
   3. You may apply only for tuition costs not covered by other scholarships, grants, awards or reimbursements.
   4. There are two essay questions in the application. Please be thoughtful in your answers, and note there is no word limit. You may wish to write these separately and then copy/paste them into the application form. The essay questions are:
      1. What is your educational goal?
      2. How will you personally benefit from these funds and how will it affect your career?
2. Considered:
   1. Attendance and/or participation in Alumni activities.
   2. Participation in a professional organization.
   3. Participation in community activities.
   4. Recipient of professional awards and/or honors.

Scholarships will be awarded annually in June.
