Jackie P. Mayer

November 6, 1945 – October 12, 2025

Jackie Mayer, loving wife to Jack Mayer, father to Scott, Nichole and Marcie, mother-in-law to Kimberly, Mark and Rocco, grandfather to Drew, Alexander, Emma, Patrick, Bruno and Ronan died peacefully on October 12, 2025, surrounded by family.

Jack believed in the importance of education and valued lifelong learning. In 2013, to celebrate Jackie’s retirement from 30 years as an Associate Professor of Nursing at the Good Samaritan College of Nursing and Health Science, Jack worked with the college foundation to create the Jacquelyn P. Mayer Scholarship to help a second-year student continue his/her education. To date the scholarship has supported 15 students in their pursuit of a nursing degree. Thank you for helping additional students on their path to a life of service as a nurse.
